Hi everyone! Happy Saturday!
In what is normally a light month for dividends, I still cleared $100 in income, which I can't complain about. I added several new companies to my portfolio in April that you'll see below: IRT, JMP, SMRT. They are significantly more risky than our usual dividend players so I've only invested about $200 in each. JMP and IRT pay a monthly dividend so I can expect most of my ROI in that form (just a few bucks per month). So here's what I've got:
Coca Cola (KO): $22.05
Genuine Parts Company (GPC): $19.07
Macy's (M): $3.96
WalMart (WMT): $19.00
Independence Realty (IRT): $1.86
JMP Group Inc (JMP): $1.56
SteinMart (SMRT): $1.95
Cisco (CSCO): $9.10
Trinity Industries Inc (TRN): $8.80
LTC Properties Inc (LTC): $4.32
Main Street Capital Corporation (MAIN): $5.94
Prospect Capital Corporation (PSEC): $8.33
Month Total: $106
YTD Total: $787
Up to just under $800 for the year, which put me way ahead of last years income number after only 4 months. May should be a good month, with another big month coming in June. I'll be working on a post in the next couple of days, as a number of companies just announced their yearly dividend increases (which is obviously awesome!). Until then....keep your spending down and investments up.
Thank you for reading!
