We are halfway through the year and I'm halfway to $3,000 of passive income this year, which is pretty exciting.  In my ambition, I hope to hit $4,000 this year, but we'll see how the second half of the year goes with a wedding and honeymoon on the books.  Either way, I'm beginning to see a very meaningful dollar amount show up in my trading account these days.  I recently sold my condo and will be slowly investing the proceeds into the market.  It probably doesn't matter much over the long haul (like they say, time in the market NOT timing the market!), but for my own sanity I don't want to put all of it in the market right away in case we see a recession here soon.  Also, it will be nice to have some capital to invest each week so I can spend sufficient time researching companies to buy, rather than just buying a bunch at one time.  That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
