Dividend Income – August 2016

posted in: Uncategorized | 6

Happy Sunday!

I’m going to continue updating this growth calculation in each one of these posts.  Another strong improvement for August and looking forward to my biggest September ever next month!

Month Dividends % Increase  Month Dividends % Increase  Month Dividends % Increase
01/2016
$77 –  02/2016 $168 –  03/2016 $436  –
04/2016
$106 37.6% 05/2016 $201 19.6% 06/2016 $585 34.2%
07/2016
$139 31.1% 08/2016 $256 27.4%

So here is what I’ve got for August:

Ticker Amount Received Applicable Notes
PG
$19.42
CAT
$27.72
GIS
$4.32
CVS
$8.93
SAN
$19.82
AAPL
$28.50
MAIN
$5.94 Monthly Payer
KMI
$10.38 slowlyyy coming back
OHI
$32.40 REIT
PSEC
$8.33 Having a great month
TNK
$16.86 Risk Portfolio
HCP
$32.20 REIT
LTC
$4.32 Monthly REIT

Month Total: $256

YTD Total: $1,968

Still no recession 🙂 Another solid month of income for my portfolio.  All of this money will be re-invested, as always.  I’m starting to see some investments paying off with larger and larger payouts.  Short term sacrifices in daily budgets make for long term gains through investment.  That $100, $200, $500 you can save over a short period of time can put dollars in your pocket for a lifetime.

Thank you for reading!

Awesome growth! Are you automatically reinvesting dividends or doing it in chunks?

That’s a nice chunk of change you earned there. Just think about all of the small bills that it might be able to cover or how many hours of work you could take off should you choose to eventually cut back.
